RAJOURI, Aug 17: A teenage boy was killed and 12 others injured in a multi-vehicle road accident in Rajouri district on Monday, officials said.
The accident took place at Tandwal near Rajouri town along the Jammu-Poonch National Highway when a two-wheeler collided with a taxi and an auto-rickshaw.
Following the initial collision, the auto-rickshaw rammed into five parked cars, resulting in injuries to 13 people, including three boys travelling on the two-wheeler.
All the injured were rushed to the Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Rajouri for treatment.
One of the injured teenagers later succumbed to his injuries, officials said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further details are awaited.
