Six J&K Accounts Service Officers Promoted to Special Scale

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has promoted six Selection Grade officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Service to the Special Scale (Level-13), according to an official government order issued on Tuesday. As per the order, Shahid Majeed Kakroo has been granted a notional promotion with effect from January 20, 2025, while his regular promotion takes effect from August 4, 2026. The remaining five officers promoted to the Special Scale with immediate effect are Harjeet Kaur, Manav Gupta, Amit Mahajan, Pre Lata Patial and Rashim Deepika. The promotions have been approved under the provisions governing the Jammu and Kashmir Accounts Service and take effect as specified in the official order issued by the Finance Department.
