Jammu: J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA) led a grand Tiranga Yatra at Amphalla, carrying a powerful message of patriotism, national unity and unwavering commitment to the nation. Hundreds of enthusiastic children participated in the Yatra carrying a 150-metre-long National Flag, transforming the streets into a vibrant display of India's unity and pride.
The rally commenced from Ved Mandir School, Amphalla, passed through various city markets up to Kachi Chawni, and returned to the school amid chants of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Vande Mataram".
The Tiranga Yatra witnessed the presence of J&K BJP Vice-President Priya Sethi, General Secretary Sanjita Dogra, MLA Yudhvir Sethi, Secretaries Reema Padha and Arun Sharma, Ayodhya Gupta, Adv. Rajesh Gupta, Purnima Sharma, Bawa Sharma, Suneet Raina, Vikrant Gupta, Er. Dil Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Er. T.K. Sharma, Ravinder Birpuria, and several senior party leaders. The rally was organized by District Jammu General Secretary Suneet Raina.
Sat Sharma, while addressing on the occasion, said that the National Flag is the symbol of India's glorious civilization, sacrifices of countless freedom fighters and the aspirations of 140 crore Indians. He said that every citizen has a responsibility to uphold the dignity of the Tricolour by contributing towards a strong, united and developed India. He emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Tricolour has become a symbol of renewed national confidence, global respect and people's participation in nation-building. Sat Sharma said that the overwhelming participation of children in the Tiranga Yatra reflects that the spirit of patriotism is deeply rooted in the younger generation and that they will carry forward the legacy of national pride with dedication and responsibility.
Priya Sethi said that the Tricolour inspires every Indian to rise above differences and work collectively for the country's progress. She remarked that the enthusiastic participation of youth and children demonstrates that patriotism continues to be the strongest force binding the nation together.
Sanjita Dogra said that every Tiranga Yatra strengthens the emotional bond between citizens and the nation. She urged people to celebrate the National Flag not merely as a symbol but as a reminder of the sacrifices made by countless brave hearts for India's freedom and integrity.
Yudhvir Sethi said that the Tiranga represents the hopes, aspirations and courage of every Indian. He called upon the people, particularly the youth, to remain committed to national unity, social harmony and the vision of a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India while always honouring the dignity of the National Flag.
