JAMMU, Sep 8: Jammu Police have solved a motorcycle snatching case within 12 hours of its registration, arresting the accused and recovering the stolen vehicle in Bishnah.
Police Station Bishnah registered FIR No. 166/2026 under Sections 126(2), 115(2) and 304 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 4/25 of the Arms Act on September 6.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, police launched an investigation and arrested the accused, identified as Harsh Bharat, son of Gulshan Kumar, a resident of Laliyana in Bishnah.
During the investigation, police recovered a toka and the snatched motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AK-8335 from his possession. The vehicle was seized within 12 hours of the FIR being registered.
Police said all necessary legal formalities have been completed and further investigation is underway.
