IED Defused in Controlled Blast in J&K’s Rajouri
Rajouri/Jammu, Jul 21: Security forces on Tuesday safely destroyed an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a controlled explosion in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, preventing a potential threat. According to officials, the IED was spotted by an Army search party in Argi Dalhori village on Monday evening during a routine operation. Following the discovery, a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was immediately deployed to the site. The explosive device was successfully neutralised in a controlled blast at around 10 pm, with no damage to life or property. Officials said the timely detection and disposal of the IED averted any possible untoward incident.
