New Delhi, Sept 8: President Droupadi Murmu has appointed Ladakh Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena to discharge the functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir during the leave of LG Manoj Sinha.
According to an official order, Saxena will hold the additional charge of Jammu and Kashmir alongside his existing responsibilities as Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
The arrangement will remain in force for the duration of Sinha’s absence on leave.
