LG Manoj Sinha Visits Martyred Policeman Ashiq Qureshi’s Family, Pays Tribute

Budgam, Jul 24: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday visited Lalpora in Beerwah area of Budgam district to meet the family of martyred Jammu and Kashmir Police Head Constable Ashiq Hussain Qureshi, paying tribute to the slain officer’s supreme sacrifice and expressing solidarity with his bereaved family. During the visit, the Lieutenant Governor assured the family of the nation’s unwavering support and honoured the policeman’s courage and dedication in the line of duty. In a post on social media, Sinha said he had visited the family to pay his respects to the brave officer who laid down his life in the service of the nation. “Visited Lalpora, Beerwah, Budgam to meet the family members of Martyr Head Constable of J&K Police, Ashiq Hussain Qureshi. His courage and sacrifice will forever inspire us. The nation salutes his devotion to duty and stands firmly with his family,” the Lieutenant Governor said.
