SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 18: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved the construction of a modern Multi-Purpose Indoor Sports Hall in Ganderbal at an estimated cost of ₹6.17 crore.
The proposed facility, measuring 60 metres by 40 metres, will be equipped with modern sports infrastructure and amenities to provide athletes with better facilities for training and practice.
The project is aimed at promoting sports and nurturing local sporting talent in Ganderbal by creating a dedicated platform for young athletes to develop their skills and participate in various sporting activities.
The government said the facility will also contribute to strengthening the district's overall sports ecosystem and provide athletes with improved opportunities to pursue sporting excellence.
The administrative approval for the project has been accorded by the Jammu and Kashmir Government, paving the way for its construction.
