Even Ministers’ Dogs Get Better Facilities: Dipke Slams Condition Of Govt Schools

LATUR, Aug 20: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) convenor Abhijeet Dipke on Thursday demanded the resignation of Maharashtra School Education Minister Dada Bhuse, alleging that government schools across the state are functioning in poor conditions.

Dipke made the remarks during a visit to a Zilla Parishad school in Ujani village of Latur's Ausa tehsil as part of his organisation's ‘School Thik Karo’ campaign aimed at highlighting issues faced by government schools.

Speaking to reporters, Dipke alleged that several schools continue to lack basic facilities, including proper classrooms, benches, toilets and safe approach roads. He said elected representatives and ministers should be held accountable for the condition of government schools.

“It is a question of students' lives. When political leaders are not doing anything for students, why should people vote for them?” he asked.

Criticising the alleged lack of facilities, Dipke said, “People should see in what conditions their children are studying. The dogs of these ministers get better facilities than this.”

He alleged that students in some government schools were being treated “worse than animals” and urged people to question political leaders about their performance on education.

Dipke also appealed to voters to press leaders of political parties to prioritise education and improve government schools before seeking public support during elections.
