NEW DELHI, Aug 17: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday announced a major overhaul of its national organisational structure, with BJP president Nitin Nabin approving a series of appointments with immediate effect.
The reshuffle includes the appointment of 13 National Vice Presidents, among them former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, Ram Madhav, Baijayant Jay Panda, D Purandeshwari, Rekha Verma, Varshaben Narendrabhai Doshi, Bharti Pravin Pawar, Manpreet Singh Badal, Lal Singh Arya, M Nagaraja, Tariq Mansoor and Madhuchandra Kar.
B L Santhosh has been retained as National General Secretary (Organisation), while Shivprakash and Saudan Singh have been appointed National Joint General Secretaries (Organisation).
The party has appointed Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Biplab Kumar Deb, Smriti Irani, Satish Poonia, Gajendra Patel, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia as National General Secretaries.
The BJP has also named Pradip Varma, Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel, Sandeep Pathak, Phangnon Konyak, Kavita Patidar, K Surendran, Bhola Singh, Sangeeta Yadav, Anil Antony, M Venkateshan, Manoj Tigga, Siddharth Shambhu, Swadesh Singh, Mriganka Deo Barman, Rohan Gupta and Jal Prakash as National Secretaries.
In the financial wing, Piyush Goyal has been appointed National Treasurer, while Rajesh Mangal will serve as National Joint Treasurer.
Tarun Chugh has been appointed Central Office In-charge and Mahendra Pandey Central Office Secretary. Sambit Patra will serve as North-East Coordinator, with Rajiv Babbar as Joint Coordinator.
Vishnu Datt Sharma has been appointed All Cells Coordinator, while Rituraj Sinha and Vishnu Vardhan Reddy will serve as Joint Coordinators.
The party also announced new presidents for its various Morchas. Dr Hemang Joshi will head the Yuva Morcha, while Roop Kumari Choudhary will lead the Mahila Morcha.
Amarpal Maurya has been appointed OBC Morcha president, Bansilal Gurjar will head the Kisan Morcha and Shivesh Kumar Ram will lead the SC Morcha. Dr Mannalal Rawat will head the ST Morcha, while Kunwar Basit Ali has been appointed Minority Morcha president.
The BJP has also reconstituted its media and digital communication teams. Anil Baluni has been appointed Media Convenor, with Ashish Usha Agrawal, Pradeep Bhandari and Siddharth Yadav as Media Co-Convenors.
For digital and social media outreach, Deepak Mhaskey has been appointed Social Media Convenor, while Priti Gandhi and Shivanand Dwivedi will serve as Social Media Co-Convenors.
The BJP said all appointments approved by Nitin Nabin would take effect immediately.
The organisational reshuffle brings several experienced leaders into key positions and is aimed at strengthening the party’s organisational machinery, coordination and outreach across states and regions.
