Baramulla Aug 31 (KNO): Five people were injured in a grenade blast at Azadgunj area of Baramulla District on Monday.
Officials said that all injured persons were evacuated to District hospital Baramulla for further treatment.
A senior doctor at the hospital confirmed that five people sustained injuries of which said two were shifted to Srinagar hospital for further treatment.
Soon after the attack, more reinforcement of forces rushed to spot and cordonned off the whole area to nab the attackers.
A Police official while confirming the incident said that suspected militants lobbed a grenade on the security forces which missed the target and exploded in the market area resulting in the injuries of six civilians—(KNO)
