Leh, July 26: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, CMO Leh received 6 positive reports and 111 negative sample reports from PGIMER Chandigarh yesterday. And CMO Leh also received 01 positive report from COIVD-Lab Chuschot.
It further tells of two more deaths due to COVID-19 from Kargil district in last few days taking the total death in UT Ladakh to 4; 1 in Leh and 3 in Kargil.
The Health Department reveals that the Rapid Testing kit sample reports of 02 patients from Kargil were tested positive.
The bulletin also says that 5 patients in Facility Isolation at Leh and 1 patient in Home Isolation from Leh were discharged today after their negative sample reports were received yesterday.
With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 218; 176 in Leh district and 42 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 218 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.
At Upshi check post 98 passengers, drivers and helpers of 21 tankers, 32 trucks and 4 light vehicles. Also 90 passengers and 227 drivers and helpers of 199 trucks/tankers and light vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitised.
