Leh, July 23: On the Last day of the eight-day tour of Nubra Sub-Divsion, the Member Parliament of Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal today visited the villages of Ayee, Kobat, Murgi, Kuree, Burma and Charasa to meet people and address their issues and grievances for their early redress.
Addressing the public gatherings in all the villages, the MP Ladakh said that the main aim of his visit is to bring into their notice the sanctioned projects and the benefits given by the efforts of 5th-LAHDC Leh. He was also talking about the significant development of Ladakh in the last five years under 5-LAHDC which consists the announcement of Special Development Package (SDP), Northern Grid Transmission connection, employment packages of more than 5000, reorganization of National Research Institution for Sowa Rigpa (NRISR) and sanction of Medical college in Ladakh.
During his visit to various villages MP Ladakh interacted with the people and discussed their major and minor issues. One of the major and long pending demand for completion of Shasy Taknak Bridge were highlighted in most of the villages. Other demands included installation of mobile tower, construction of public library, set-up of Medical Aids Centre, Protection bund along Sachin River, supply of drink water facility, set-up of livestock development center, water lifting facility in addition to others minors demands.
MP JTN after giving a patient hearing to all issues and concerns raised by the people in each village assured them that all genuine demands would be considered on priority and addressed in a phased manner.
Later MP JTN inaugurated the 160 KW Diesel Gen-set at Panamik in presence of Dy. Chairman LAHDC, Leh Tsering Sangdup, BDC Panamik halqa, Sarpanch and villagers.
Dy. Chairman LAHDC, Leh Tsering Sangdup, Councilor Sumoor Rigzin Lundup, Block Development Chairperson Panamik, Sub Divisional Magistrate Nubra, Sonam Norboo, concerned Executive Engineer and Block level officers accompanied the MP Ladakh.
