17 more tested COVID-19 positive in UT Ladakh

Leh, July 20: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, CMO Leh received 13 positive reports and 40 negative sample reports, while CMO Kargil received 4 positive reports and 5 negative sample reports from PGIMER Chandigarh yesterday.

While, 1 patient in Facility Isolation at Leh and 3 patients in Home Isolation from Kargil were discharged today after their negative sample reports were received yesterday.

With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 186; 155 in Leh district and 31 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 186 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.

 

At Upshi check post 145 passengers were screened who came in 54 tankers, 40 trucks and 12 light vehicles. Also 170 passengers and 99 trucks/tankers drivers and helpers were screened at Khaltsi Check post who came in 73 trucks/tankers and light motor vehicles yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitised.
