Poonch, July 05: The armies of India and Pakistan on Sunday exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote area of Poonch district, officials said.

Official sources told  that on Sunday evening at around 07:25 PM, Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling in Balakote area of LoC.

“Both small arms as well as mortars are being used by Pakistan Army.” they said. The official sources informed that heavy firing and shelling is going on in the area while no loss of life or injury was reported when the report was last filed—(KNO)
