4 more tested COVID-19 positive in UT Ladakh; 87 patients cured and discharged; active cases drop to 405

Leh, June 27: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, informed that 16 patients in Home Isolation and 01 patient from COVID hospital Leh were discharged from Leh district today. 31 patients in Home Isolation and 39 patients from COVID Care Centre Kargil were discharged today from Kargil district after their Negative reports were received by the Health department Leh yesterday.

With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has dropped to 405; 104 in Leh district and 301 in Kargil district and further informed that the condition of all 405 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.

The bulletin further informs that Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Leh yesterday received 5 positive sample reports and 50 negative sample reports of Leh district from PGIMER Chandigarh and One sample needs retesting. Similarly, Chief Medical Officer Kargil also received 09 positive sample reports, 82 negative sample reports and 01 sample needs retesting.

Today the Health department sent 37 samples to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing. Out of the total samples, 23 samples were sent by CMO Leh and 14 samples were sent by CMO Kargil.

93 Passengers and 199 Drivers and Helpers of 130 trucks /tankers and light motors Vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check post yesterday. The Vehicles were also sanitized.

The Health workers at Upshi check post Screened 312 passengers yesterday, which includes drivers and Helpers of 160 tankers, 85 trucks and 01 light vehicles.
