25 Covid-19 patients discharged after recovery in Rajouri

RAJOURI : As many as 25 patients who recovered from COVID-19 in Rajouri district were discharged on Friday from GMC&AH Rajouri.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh, District Statistical and Evaluation Officer, Bilal Rashid Mir, Nodal Officer COVID Control Room, Dr Javed and staff members of the Health Department were present on the occasion.

While speaking on the occasion, the Nodal Officer COVID Control Room congratulated the recovered patients and also advised them to follow all the SOP guidelines at their homes and immediately report to the Block Medical Officers of their areas if they again feel any symptom of COVID-19 in their body.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that “it is a happy movement for those who are going back to their home after being recovered and a satisfactory moment for the medical staff who worked tirelessly and selflessly for the welfare of these patients”. He also expressed his gratitude to the recovered COVID19 patients for extending their full support to the district administration during their treatment.

He further said that public safety is the topmost priority of the district administration and the administration is working at its full potential to overcome the pandemic and all the necessary measures as per the need of the time are being taken to mitigate the sufferings of the general public.

He said that the need of the hour is to be more careful to remain safe from this deadly virus. He also said that with the increase in the number of the COVID-19 cases in the district, the district administration also scaled up its required facilities like COVID Care Centres, Quarantine centres, bedding capacity etc to tackle the situation and to ensure the effective management of COVID-19 in the district.

It is pertinent to mention here that out of 80 COVID-19 positive cases 40 persons have been recovered and discharged for hospitals.

The recovered patients on the occasion thanked the district administration for its efforts to mitigate their sufferings by providing them with all the basic facilities during their temporary stay in GMC&AH Rajouri.
