Three terrorists killed in south Kashmi
Shopian, June 16: One more terrorist has been killed in an encounter that broke between terrorists and the security forces in Turkawangam area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday morning taking toll of killed terrorists to three.
An official told , that three terrorists have been killed in an exchange of fire while as search operation is on in the area.
Earlier an official said that a joint team of Police, army’s 44 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area.
He said that as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
Pertinently this is 5th encounter in district and 6th in South kashmir in last 10 days in which 19 terrorists have been killed so far.
