Handwara, May 2 : After several hours of siege at Chanjmullah Handwara area in north Kashmir’s kupwara district a gunfight has broke out between joint forces and militants.
Officials told TEN Network, that after several hours of siege in the area contact has established with the militants.
The official said that the exchange of fire is going on at the gunfight site and there are no immediate reports of any casualty or injury from either of the side.
Meanwhile police on its official Twitter handle informed that ,”Encounter has started at Chanjmullah area of Handwara. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow”.
