Jammu | 18 Apr: Former BJP4 MLA Rajesh Gupta & Deputy Mayor Jammu Purnima Sharma among several booked for violating lockdown restrictions in Jammu.
FIR no 24 /20 u/s 188,353,269,270 stands registered against Dy Mayor Purnima sharma , ex MLA Rajesh Gupta, corporater Sandhya Gupta and others for flouting the laws and putting the life of general public on risk during distribution of ration at Hari theater, Raghunath Bazar ignoring social distancing and directions issued by Health department and DC Jammu. As per the sources they have arranged the gathering of around 100 to 150 people and misbehaved with police officials on duty who requested them to avoid such gathering after which the police dealt the issue with strictness.
