Pulwama,  Mar 18 : A militant hideout was busted while an IED and ammunition was recovered during search operation in Hardamir Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday, a senior police official said.

Government forces on today morning cordoned off Hardamir village in Tral sub-district after receiving inputs about presence of militants.

Sources said that Army’s 42 RR, CRPF 180 battalion and police laid a cordon in the area.

During the operation, a militant hideout was busted, police sources said.

SDPO Tral, Dr. Aeijaz Malik confirmed to—KNO that a militant hideout was busted in Tral area.

“Incriminating material including IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) were recovered from the hideout, he added — (KNO)
