Kishtwar: District Administration Kishtwar today roped in religious institutions to spread awareness about Noval Corona virus through announcements and point to point contact.

Meanwhile, District Development Commissioner, Singh Tara visited District Hospital   and reviewed the preparation for combating the  threat of the virus.

He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pawan Parihar; Medical Superintendent DH, Dr. Tariq Parveeza and  other officers and  officials of the district  hospital .

The DDC inspected isolation ward, quarantine facility, medicines stocks, masks availability, cleanliness of Hospital and training/ sensitization of staff  to tackle the Cororna virus threat.

He asked the Doctors and officials to be extra vigilant in wake of the return of various pilgrims from different countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Nepal etc and asked them to strictly follow SOPs, during screening, treatment and keeping patients and suspects under observation in isolation wards and quarantine facilities.
