New Delhi Mar 11: The global death toll from the new coronavirus has passed 4,000 and the outbreak has spread to over 100 countries. Meanwhile, India’s count of coronavirus cases rose by 18 to 62 on Tuesday with eight testing positive from Kerala five from Maharashtra, four from Karnataka and one from J&K.
British MP Nadine Dorries, a minister in the health department, has tested positive for coronavirus, she said in a statement on
Tuesday, raising concerns about whether senior government figures have been infected.
Health officials are now trying to trace where she contracted the virus and who she has been in contact with, she added. Six
people have died in Britain from the virus, with more than 370 confirmed cases.
