Ganderbal, Jan 1, TEN Network | Ganderbal Police arrested one OGW namely Rayees Ahmad Lone S/O Abdul Qayoom Lone R/O Gund, Ganderbal age 22 years.
During investigation the OWG has been found affiliated with proscribed terror outfit LeT which was active in District Ganderbal, the accused is a SIM vendor and registered multiple SIM cards for militants affiliated with LeT. SIM cards have been issued based upon concocted evidences and the accused has extended support to the Pakistani militant who was killed in an encounter on 12-11-2019 at Kullan.
In this regard a case F.I.R No: 69/2019 U/S 307 IPC 7/27 IAA, 16,18,19,20 UA(P)A of Police Station Gund stands registered . Further investigation is going on to ascertain involvement of other persons. In this case one Farooq Ahmad Sheikh S/O Ghulam Rasool Sheikh R/O Kullan already stands arrested to have provided refuge to the militants.
