Islamabad| 26-12-2019 | TEN Network: Amid uproar against Citizen Amendment Act government is trying hard to clarify its stand why it has brought CAA in the country.
While the opposition is hell-bent to make it a Hindu Muslim issue, the government is trying hard to make people understand that it doesn’t have to take anything with present citizens of India.
The government says that the bill is for the persecuted minorities of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh where their population has significantly declined over the years reason being the forceful abductions and conversions.
In the wake of this, another case of forceful abduction and conversion has come into light in Pakistan’s Karachi.
The girl has been identified as Mahek Keswani of Karachi.
As per the reports, her grandfather ‘Muhan’ died heartbroken after hearing this news. A well known Sufi Pir Mian Mitho kept her for four days and converted her to Islam. Later she escaped out of the shrine and reported the issue to his parents.
After this incident whole of the minorities are on roads of Karachi and other cities to protest against atrocities against minorities in Pakistan.
This incident is being also used on social media by people to support the government in its decision to bring CAA.
