Ramnagar, Nov 25, TEN Network | (Press Release) While responding to a totally false and politically,
ethically and factually incorrect statement issued by ex-MLA Harsh Dev
Singh, “BJP operating two set of laws in J & K” and carried in a
section of press today, Mr Makhan Lal, President, Municipal Committee,
Ramnagar along-with Rameez Sheikh, President Yuva Morcha, Ramnagar,
and Sunil Sharma, President Yuva Morcha, Chowki, have challenged the
disenchanted Panthers’ leader to come on ground and try to call the
spade a spade. While reminding them of their stinking past, BJP
leaders were on the best of their lung power to say that Mr Singh was
allotted Special-6/A bungalow at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, in his capacity
as Education Minister of the State. He ceased to be a minster in
October 2005. And fourteen years after losing the job of minister, he
had unauthorizedly and shamelessly put up in the same accommodation
until few days back when he was thrown out of it by the Estates Deptt
with the help of executive and Police authorities. And once he has
been bundled out from the said accommodation which he used to tell it
to everybody that he cannot be evicted from it till his life, he has
now taken to tantrum of pressing the morality trumpet and trying to
create shows just out of thin air. Mr Balwant Singh Mankotia,
President of JKNPP, has been still illegally occupying an
accommodation at Udhampur since the past five years despite repeated
notices and eviction proceedings underway against him. Mr Bhim Singh
remained unauthorized occupant of an accommodation at Vithalbhai
Hosue, New Delhi, for as many as three and a half decades until he was
also evicted from the same by Delhi govt.
While fact remains that ninety per cent of accommodations held by BJP
people have been vacated, JKNPP leader is trying to attract pubic
attention with stage-managed shows and concocting facts and figures.
Attributing to Panthers leader’s statement as an outburst of
frustration and eccentricity resulting out of his nerve-racking defeat
in the last Assembly Polls, BJP leaders accused Harsh Dev Singh of
sticking to novel obsession of making false, tailored and blasphemous
statements. Rather the wishy n’ wily Panthers who have been enjoying
loaves and fishes of power since the last eighteen years owe an answer
to the people that what efforts did they take for streamlining of
system in J & K. They also owe an answer to the people of Ramnagar for
pushing it in a worst morass of underdevelopment and maladministration
and promoting corruption, nepotism and lawlessness in the area.
