Ladakh: Students, faculty face immense hardships in examination centers amid bone chilling cold, authorities unmoved

Ladakh, Nov 23, TEN Network | Students appearing in  the ongoing annual examinations including the on duty officials are facing shortage of adequate facilities at examination centers with hundreds of students getting affected  as they are being subjected to  hardships amid the bone chilling winter since they’re unable to properly  write their paper to a satisfactory level blaming official for their negligence. 

 

Reports said that, In Ladakh, the temperature has dipped to minimum -3.1 to maximum -11 in various parts of Kargil due to the recent Snowfall and Rainfall but the finale board exams of Calss 10th and 12th is going on at various centers and students are facing lots of problems due to the bone chilling cold conditions since the authorities have failed to place in proper arrangements needed including  heating arrangements.

While talking to media persons,  one of the teachers on duty said that now we are in union Territory of Ladakh, Government of UT Ladakh should think of making adequate arrangements for examination session by changing it to suitable months in order to make  proper heating arrangements so that none will face any sort of hardship.
