Srinagar, Nob 15, TEN Network | At least five civilians, including a woman, were wounded in Pakistan firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s frontier district on Thursday, the police said.
They said Pakistan violated ceasefire in the Taad area of Tangdhar this morning and resorted to unprovoked firing and heavy shelling. The injured were taken to a hospital. However, one was shifted to a Srinagar hospital for treatment. Two houses were completely damaged during the shelling.
The officials said the Indian Army too retaliated and an exchange of fire continued for nearly two hours.
