Leh, Nov 11, TEN Network | In a recent meeting convened by DC/Co, LAHDC, Leh Sachin Kumar Vaishya a strict direction was given that no government doctor will be allowed to work in private clinics between 9:30 a.m to 4:30 p.m in Leh district.
The meeting also discussed the services of medical consultants and other issues related to the health department. DC directed the President, Chemists Association, Leh in particular to ensure that no govt doctor works at the private clinics between 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
In order to ensure regular staff at duty in the hospital, DC instructed Medical Suptd., SNM hospital, Leh to submit biometric attendance of the hospital staff to DC office on daily basis. He also asked Station Manager Leh, Air India to have reserved quota in cargo to ensure uninterrupted supply of medicines in the winter months.
DC also constituted a committee headed by ADDC, Leh, Moses Kunzang to fix the wages/allowances of security guards to be employed at SNM Hospital, Leh.
District Drug Inspector, Leh, President, Chemists Association, Leh and other chemists also attended the meeting.
