But he did faced the bitter truth when he was arrested over a year ago for failure to refund Rs 20,000 crore to investors. But again, money can sure buy one all the possible luxuries and that is exactly what the Sahara Group chief seem to have done in Tihar jail. As per report in The Times of India, Subrata Roy paid a whopping Rs 1.23 crore to enjoy special facilities in Tihar jail for a year. This amount is enough to take care of 200 inmates for a year, the report said.
