RAJOURI, NOVEMBER 09: To ensure regularity, punctuality, work culture and to check the absenteeism, on the directions of District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Mohd Aijaz Asad , the special teams conducted the surprise checking in various health institutions in the district.
Separate teams, led by Additional Deputy Commissioners, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars inspected a total of 120 health institutions including 26 health institutions in Nowshera, 25 in Sunderbani,19 in Kalakote,20 in Darhal,26 in Manjakote and 04 health institutions in Kandi.
During this surprise check, 06 health institutions in Nowshera,05 health institutions in SunderbanI,05 health institutions in Kalakote,02 in Darhal, 01 in Kandi 05 health institutions in Manjakote were found locked , for which CMO, Dr Suresh Gupta has been asked to report in this matter, to initiate strict disciplinary action. Meanwhile, the salary of BMO Sunderbani, Nowshera, Kalakote and Manjakote has been withheld till further orders.
Meanwhile, during checking, 30 employees were found absent in an unauthorized manner, 94 were on leave, till the last report came in. An explanation is being sought from CMO and BMOs whether they have followed the Leave Rules in sanctioning leave of such a large number of officials/employees.
The DC Rajouri said that this surprise checking was to ensure punctuality and discipline in the Government run health institutions to provide the best healthcare facilities to the public. No laxity in attendance and punctuality in the offices would be tolerated at any cost and such inspections shall be conducted in future too, he added. He further clarified that the action shall also be initiated against such leave sanctioning authorities who have sanctioned leaves in an irrational and casual manner.s
