UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 06: The District Election Officer (DEO) Udhampur, Ravinder Kumar, today briefed the media about the preparedness of the district for upcoming Urban Local Body (ULB) elections.
He said all the prerequisite steps have been taken for the smooth, free and fair conduct of the elections.
He said there is one Municipal Council and two Municipal Committees in Udhampur district with MC Udhampur having 21 wards, MC Ramnagar 14 wards and MC Chenani seven wards.
There are 68 polling stations in all the three MCs.
