UDHAMPUR, Aug. 22:- Arrangements for smooth conduct of Annual Charri Yatra of Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar on August 24, 2018 in village Gabber- Chilla (Batote) were discussed in detail under the chairmanship of Chairman, Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar, Mr. Bishan Dass here today.
During the meeting, arrangements like route of charri yatra, sanitation, drinking water, decoration of the temple, yatar, jyot baba chounsar mandir to guffa, kirtan, folk dance kud, and langer parsad were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, the chairman exhorted upon the executive members to put in their coordinated efforts for smooth conduct of the charri yatra and other allied event.
President, Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar disclosed that annual Charri Yatra of Kalika Chakundi-Baba Chounsar-2018 started on August 24, 2018 at 7 a.m led by Pujari Kailash Thakur in which a charri yatra will be taken out from Karwal Nallah, (Kud) which after passing through various locations of the villages like Mall road, Kasar Morh, Patnitop, Sanasar Road, Nathatop and finally culminate at Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar Mandir, Gabber –Chilla (Batote) with traditional fervor and gaiety.
He further disclosed that main attraction of the programme like chowki and folk Kud dance performance is also organised at Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar Mandir. He also appealed to all the followers of Baba Chounsar to reach at Kalika Chakundi- Baba Chounsar Mandir as well as charri yarta for the celebration of annual function.
President, Mr. Kailash Chand, Mr. Balbir Chand, General Secretary, Mr. Kartar Chand, members which include Bansi Lal, Omkar Singh, Mr. Jagdev Singh, Mr. Parshotam Chand and other prominent were also present in the meeting.
