Jaipur, Aug 21 : Five people were killed and one person injured today in two accidents in Rajasthan’s Nagaur and Dholpur districts, police said.
Jadish Jat (38), his son Ramsukh and uncle Sujaram Jat (55) were killed when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle on Deedwana-Salasar mega highway in Nagaur, Kaliash Vishnoi, SHO of Jaswantgarh police station said.
The truck driver has been arrested and his vehicle seized, the SHO said, adding that the bodies were handed over to their family after post-mortem.
In Dholpur, two people were killed and one person injured when an unidentified vehicle hit the car they were travelling in on National Highway 11, the police said.
The deceased were identified as Ram Bhajan (36) and Pintal Sharma (31), they said.
A case has been registered at Badi police station.(P.T.I)
