Srinagar, Dec 6 |15: Minister for R&B Works, Floriculture, Parks and Gardens Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari today flagged off a “Two-Wheeler Rally” organised by the Traffic police in collaboration with private stakeholders under the Corporate social responsibility to sensitize bikers about traffic rules and measures for road safety. Director General of Police, K. Rajendra Kumar also participated in the rally which started from Lalit Ghat, Boulevard and culminated at Sir Mohammad Iqbal Convention Centre, Sanat Nagar, covering a distance of about 12 Km. Overwhelming response of youth braving morning chill of Dal lake was seen at the venue with more than 250 participants attending the rally The rally along the route was decorated with banners, hoardings and elaborate arrangements were seen on way. Later SSP Traffic City Srinagar Maqsood-ul-laman presented vote of thanks and appreciated the contribution of all stakeholders in making the rally a great success.
