Leh, Sept 19: Hon’ble Councilor Hunder Kunzang Lotus expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Chairman/CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson for the inauguration of the much-anticipated motorable bridge at Udmaroo. The new bridge represents a significant infrastructure advancement for the region, promising improved connectivity and convenience for local residents.

During the visit, Councilor Lotus underscored the critical importance of finishing the bridge construction within the current working season. He emphasized that timely completion would not only enhance accessibility but also support ongoing development efforts in the area.

In response, Chairman Gyalson assured that every possible effort would be made to expedite the project. He acknowledged the urgency of the situation and committed to ensuring that the bridge is completed as swiftly as possible, in line with the Council’s dedication to enhancing regional infrastructure and services.

Later, a delegation from the Youth Association of Chemday, Sakti, and Kharu, led by BJP District President Tashi Gyaltsan Kachu and Executive Members, met with CEC Leh to address several pressing issues and grievances.

The meeting focused primarily on the need for enhanced sports infrastructure in their villages. The delegation highlighted the necessity for financial support to establish a cricket net practice ground and to level the existing football ground. These improvements are seen as critical for fostering sports development and providing better facilities for the youth in the region.

In addition to sports infrastructure, the delegation raised several other important issues affecting their villages. Chairman Gyalson listened attentively to their concerns and assured the group that their requests would be reviewed and addressed as soon as possible.
