Kargil, Sept 19: Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh (Acting), Justice Tashi Rabstan on Thursday reviewed the ongoing developmental works at the Munsiff Court Complex in Drass. He was accompanied by the Member Secretary, J&K Legal Services Committee, Amit Gupta and Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice, MK Sharma, an official spokesperson said.
During the visit, Justice Rabstan inspected the new court complex and directed the Assistant Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD) to expedite the completion of the remaining works. He also advised Munsiff Drass to undertake plantation initiatives within the court premises to enhance its environment.
Earlier, the Chief Justice was accorded a guard of honor on his arrival at Dak Bungalow, Drass. Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Shrikant Suse, and Senior Superintendent of Police, Shri Raam R, were present to receive him.
Munsiff Drass, Imran Haneef Khan; Munsiff Sankoo, Deldan Angmo; President of the Bar Association Kargil, Advocate Riyaz Ahmad, along with other advocates and officers and officials from the district court and district administration Kargil were present during the visit.
