Leh, Sept 15: In a recent meeting held in Leh, Hon’ble Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor (CEC) Adv. Tashi Gyalson of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) engaged with a delegation from Rong. The delegation led by Mandal President Dorjey Tundup and accompanied by Vice President Jigmet Tsetan, Goba Jigmet Wangyal, and member Nawang Namgyal, presented their concerns regarding the telecommunications infrastructure in their region.

The delegation’s primary request was for the expedited erection of a 4G BSNL tower to enhance connectivity in the areas of Tukla, Gyak, and Tukla Phulak. This infrastructure development is anticipated to significantly improve communication and internet services for residents in these remote locations.

CEC Tashi Gyalson expressed his understanding of the critical nature of this request and assured the delegation that he would thoroughly review the matters discussed. He committed to offering the necessary support to address the concerns raised by the Rong representatives.
