Leh, Sept 03: The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, has introduced the “rTsom-Rig Yar-Skyed” scheme, a significant initiative aimed at fostering literary development in the Union Territory of Ladakh. This program is set to benefit writers, authors, scholars, and researchers by providing essential services that support their literary endeavors.

Under the administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh, the Information Department of LAHDC Leh has rolled out this scheme to offer a comprehensive range of services. The scope of the rTsom-Rig Yar-Skyed scheme includes proofreading, editing, designing, and publishing services, as well as book launch and publicity support. Additionally, the scheme features a Book Trivia Contest, further encouraging literary engagement within the community.

The initiative represents a unique opportunity for local literary talents to embark on their creative journeys with the backing of LAHDC Leh. It aims to contribute significantly to the literature of Ladakh by providing writers and scholars with the necessary tools and platforms to refine and share their work.

For more information or to apply for the scheme, interested individuals can contact the DIPR, Leh at 9596982275 or via email at [email protected].
