Leh, Aug 30: In a significant move to enhance financial management across key departments, the Finance Department of UT Ladakh conducted an in-depth training session on the newly upgraded Ladakh Integrated Financial Management System (LIFMS) for officials from the Election and Civil Aviation Departments.
The training, led by Jigmet Namgyal, JKAS, Nodal Officer for LIFMS, aimed to familiarize participants with the latest technical updates and improvements in the LIFMS. Alongside Namgyal, other staff members provided a comprehensive overview of the system’s updated modules, focusing on new functionalities, an improved user interface, and enhanced reporting capabilities.
The session was designed to be interactive, offering participants hands-on experience with the system and addressing their specific queries. This practical approach ensured that the officials from both departments were well-prepared to leverage the upgraded LIFMS effectively in their roles.
The Finance Department of UT Ladakh emphasized its commitment to continuous improvement and capacity building. By equipping its personnel with advanced tools and knowledge, the department aims to streamline financial processes, boost transparency, and enhance overall financial governance in the region. The upgraded LIFMS is expected to play a pivotal role in achieving these objectives.
