Leh, Aug 27: The Learning School of Dardi Aryan Language committee (LADALC) on Tuesday presented formal request to the Government of India seeking the creation of a new administrative subdivision in Aryan Valley, Ladakh. The letter addressed to the Honorable Minister of Home Affairs, underscores the need for enhanced governance and development in this remote and culturally unique region.
The Aryan Valley, renowned for its distinctive Dardi-Arya community, is seeking the establishment of a subdivision with its headquarters proposed at [specific location]. The petition highlights the valley’s unique cultural heritage and the necessity for better administrative support to foster development while preserving its rich traditions.
The Dardi-Arya community, characterized by its unique language, customs, and traditions, would benefit significantly from the creation of this new administrative unit. Proponents argue that the subdivision will not only aid in the preservation of these cultural elements but also enhance governance and infrastructure development in a region known for its harsh terrain and remote location.
Supporters of the petition believe that a new subdivision will attract investments and bolster tourism, thereby boosting the local economy. Additionally, given Aryan Valley’s strategic proximity to international borders, proponents argue that improved administrative attention is crucial for both regional development and national security.
The petition concludes with a call for the government’s consideration and approval, asserting that the proposed subdivision will greatly benefit the region’s development, cultural preservation, and governance.
The Learning School of Dardi Aryan Language committee, which spearheaded the petition, has expressed optimism that the government will recognize the significant potential benefits of this proposal and act favorably on their request.
