Srinagar, Aug 12 : This morning, a mega Tiranga rally was flagged off by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha from the International Convention Centre (ICC) towards the Botanical Garden’s back lawns in Srinagar.
The event witnessed massive participation; thousands of people, including top rung administrative officials, joined the procession.
This morning, the rally started at 6:45 a.m. with great pomp and show. With flags of India in hand and pro-India slogans, the participants marched toward the Botanical Garden overlooking the beautiful Dal Lake.
The spontaneous crowd of men, women, youth, and government employees all had national pride written on their faces.
