Srinagar 9 :- In a significant blow to drug traffickers, the Baramulla Police launched a comprehensive operation to destroy wild cannabis in the Kanchan village of Baramulla. The team, comprising police officials, respectables, numberdars & chowkidars conducted a thorough search of the area and identified vast tracts of land approx 3 kanals wild cannabis.
The team meticulously destroyed the wild cannabis, ensuring that the drugs do not reach the streets and fuel addiction. This drive is part of the Police’s persistent efforts to curb the menace of drug abuse in the society.
