Kargil :-  Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today convened a meeting with Assistant General Manager and Cluster Head of J&K Bank, Kargil, along with Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from the Bank’s Corporate Office.

During the meeting, the CEC reviewed ongoing and proposed projects under J&K Bank’s CSR initiatives. Emphasising the importance of these projects for the socio-economic development of Kargil, the CEC highlighted key areas where JK Bank’s support could drive community benefits.

A major point of discussion was the recruitment of local youth into JK Bank. The CEC underscored the necessity of organizing a special recruitment drive aimed at engaging local youth.

The CEC said that engagement of local youth will make a customer-friendly environment and enhance customer care services by leveraging the local youth’s familiarity with the community and its needs.

In addition to CSR projects and youth recruitment, several other issues pertinent to the banking sector and regional development were also deliberated upon during the meeting.
