BJP Ladakh celebrates ‘UT Declaration Day’ with great enthusiasm

Leh: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) UT Ladakh today celebrated the sixth UT Declaration Day-2024 with great enthusiasm at its main office, here.

On this auspicious day, BJP State vice President, Lden Samstan; BJP State General Secretary, PT Kunzang; State Kisan Morcha President, Tsering Motup; BJYM State Yuva Morcha President, Thinless Norboo; Mahila Morcha executives, other Executive Members and Karyakartas from State, District, and Mandals joined  the programme.

During the celebration, BJP General Secretary stated “UT struggle has a long history; it is only BJP Sarkar which granted UT status to Ladakh with broad vision”. Further, he mentioned that BJP was willing to further strengthen local aspirations with proper safeguard, empowering Councils, promoting and preserving local culture and language.

The programme carried by Lden Samstan and Thinless Norbu remembering the contribution made by Ladakhi Statesman 19th Kushok Bakula Rinpoche  and other leaders whose vision for UT in  Ladakh was made realistic by BJP under the leadership of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.

They reminded BJP karyakartas that how  BJP Ladakh took huge efforts to get UT status for Ladakh Ladakh through support from grass root level, dialogue and movement at higher echelons.

UT Declaration day was also celebrated by the UT Administration, both the Councils, with great enthusiasm and blissful with remunerations made for UT struggle by both leaders and common people. It emphasizes the local culture, identity, customs and aspiration at both social and administration level.
