Leh 01 :- Hon’ble Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson chaired a meeting today to review preparations for the upcoming Ladakh rPal Ngam Duston to be celebrated on 5th August 2024 on the occasion of UT Ladakh Declaration Day.
Executive Councillor for Art/Culture, Stanzin Chosphel; Executive Councillor for Minority, Ghulam Mehdi; ADDC Leh, Sonam Nurboo; DYSC, Tsewang Paljor; CPO Leh, IAO/CCF along with all the concerned officials attended the meeting today.
CEC Gyalson stressed on making the event an all-inclusive one highlighting the traditions and customs of the different parts of the region. H’CEC further instructed the departmental heads and the concerned officers to ensure that the Ladakh rPal rNgam Duston is celebrated in a grand manner keeping intact the aim, objective and vision of the event which focuses on celebrating the pride of Ladakh.
Furthermore, he directed the committee in charges to have a meeting with the members for proper execution of the arrangements needed to be done.
This year’s celebration will be observed under the glorious 50 years of Ladakh Tourism.
