Kargil :- The Union Territory of Ladakh witnessed a significant educational milestone today with the official launch of the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2024-25 brochure. The event was marked by the presence of notable dignitaries, including Shri S.D. Namgyal, CEO Kargil, and Shri Sonam Angchuk, CEO Leh, who jointly unveiled the brochure.

The ceremony highlighted the importance of the VVM initiative in fostering scientific curiosity among students from 6th to 11th classes. National Convener of VVM, Shri Arvind Garg, attended the event, expressing his excitement about the program’s reach extending to Ladakh. He emphasized the critical need to nurture scientific thinking and creativity, particularly in remote regions.

The newly launched brochure provides comprehensive details about the VVM competition, study materials, and registration processes. It encourages students to delve into science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects through digital exams, practical learning, workshops, internships, and interactive sessions.

During his speech, Shri S.D. Namgyal praised Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) for its efforts in promoting scientific temperament. He acknowledged the collaborative efforts of educators, students, and organizers. Shri Sonam Angchuk echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing the brochure’s role in ensuring that every student in Ladakh can access these educational opportunities.

The VVM team expressed gratitude to all stakeholders, including schools, teachers, and students, for their support. The brochure is seen as a vital resource for students aspiring to participate in VVM and contribute to India’s scientific advancements.
