Leh 26 :- The Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a meeting to review the preparedness for the 78th Independence Day at DC Conference Hall, today on July 26.
DC, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve reviewed the point wise agendas of the meeting department wise and asked the department heads to ensure on ground implementation of the decisions made in the meetings.
Additionally, he asked the department heads to ensure to use as much local materials as possible, be it in the decoration flowers, refreshments or the mementos and prize gifts. Other than that, he instructed the departments not to use any plastic materials and especially avoid the usage of plastic mineral bottles.
Further, he directed the concerned department to conduct two cleanliness drives before August 15.
The meeting was attended by ADC, Leh, Ghulam Mohd; SSP, Leh, Shruti Arora; CPO, Leh, Tsewang Gyalson and other concerned department heads.
