LEH, July 22: Wing Commander MM Joshi, an eminent senior citizen of Jammu, has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to societal development through his tireless efforts on multiple fronts. His latest endeavor has taken him to the majestic heights of Ladakh, aiming to invigorate the Scouts & Guides movement in the region.
As a National Commissioner of Scouts & Guides, Wing Commander Joshi travelled to Leh with a mission to enhance the engagement of youth in Ladakh through the Scouts & Guides movement. During his visit, he had the honor of meeting the Lt Governor of Ladakh, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retired), to discuss this noble initiative.
In the meeting, Joshi requested the LG to accept the position of Patron of the Scouts & Guides Chapter in the Union Territory of Ladakh. Recognizing the potential benefits of this initiative, the LG graciously accepted the proposal. This approval marks a significant step forward in engaging the youth of Ladakh in nation-building activities and instilling the qualities of discipline and service.
Joshi’s efforts are expected to provide the youth of Ladakh with a robust platform to contribute positively to their community and the nation. By revitalizing the Scouts & Guides movement in this picturesque region, he aims to foster a sense of responsibility, leadership, and community service among the young generation.
