Kargil 15 :- In Ladakh, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs & Minority Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, paid a heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers of Operation Vijay at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas on Sunday. The visit commemorated the sacrifices made by Indian soldiers during the Kargil War of 1999.
During his visit, Minister Rijiju interacted with Army personnel, expressing deep admiration and gratitude for their dedication and service. He remarked, Today, while paying my tributes to the heroes of the Kargil war who laid down their lives for the nation, I could feel their continued presence, and their supreme sacrifice will forever be remembered.
Emphasizing the importance of honoring these national heroes, Rijiju added, They gave their lives, and the nation exists peacefully. Hence, every Indian must come once in their lifetime to pay respect to the heroes of India.
